“After extensive review of our reports to High Command, it has been deemed that we are to include into our efforts a Dark Ranger ‘minder’. She will be present during our formal functions and make certain that our reports back to High Command bare total accuracy.
I am however convinced that this addition to our efforts was sent after extensive efforts by a rival Commander who has long feuded with our unit. The gears of High Command are turning, and so we shall respectfully obey it’s will. -U“
“With the Legion baying at the gates now is not the hour to fritter away life, limb, and precious resources. Yet the malice, mistrust, and simmering rage between the Alliance and Horde results in a battle lust that must be sated. Hence, the Forsaken’s annual great hunt has been stayed in favor of less internecine sport. A cathartic bloodletting is called for, one to determine who truly fields the greatest of champions.
The People of Lordaeron and their Dark Lady’s ascent to prominence within the Horde is an event to be lauded (or bemoaned) for many. With the specter of the Burning Legion casting a long shadow over all the free peoples of Azeroth, this event has resulted in a need to find comfort in the bloody embrace of violent tradition! As is every year, the annual festival known as The Dance of the Dead, a reincarnation of an ancient seasonal celebration that started in Caer Darrow will be observed.
Join us under the mantle of our glorious new Warchief, our great Dark Lady, the Queen of Lordaeron for an evening of revelry and glory!”
OOC Thank you for yet another great Dance Of The Dead!
“We knew it was only a matter of time before we were issued order to ride out, most of us separately and scattered to the wind among other units. I pulled strings, and did what I must through some red tape magic to keep most of the rotters under the bones together as a unit for this assignment. As we have done for for years, we rallied in the ruins and from there received our shadow blessing. The blessing was granted to us by our War Priest, Grim. From there we rode, to face the horrors that awaited on a forward front in the field at Hammerfall. -#1971U”
“Horde Tavern Night was very much a standard affair, the goblin travel agency who hosts this monthly affair selected the World’s End Tavern for this month’s gathering. Initially the evening was going well, though it soon melted down into a series of disquieting events that ended in a murder suicide.
Tests on the food from the evening show that the food was tainted with fel magic. This food was fed to the masses, any who ate consumed it. More concerning was that the meat in particular was that of the flesh of the races of the Horde. Who is responsible for these actions remains unknown, though the murder suicide at Horde Tavern implies some connection.
A fresh recruit of the Nexus, bearing our tabard was responsible for the slaughter. Without warning, or being provoked, he lashed out and utterly eviserated a young elven woman from behind. The gory display horrifying for even veteran members of the Horde who bore witnessing the murder. The Forsaken responsible for the murder was quickly detained. Restrained he began screaming, proclaiming in a frenzy that his actions were my own orders, and thus the will of Forsaken High Command. He had no such orders. In his mad ravings he spoke of another figure head, of the Marshal and the promise of power.
I ordered his tabard stripped from him, Henry quickly and easily tore that tabard from him. That tabard is now of special interest, as it is now the only thing reamining of the Forsaken assassin. Shortly after having had the tabard torn from him, the Forsaken assassin blew up in a wave of emerald fire – seemingly a suicide, or not? A number of individuals were injured in the blast.
The tabard acquired from the assassin will soon be subject to arcane scrying in an attempt to learn more about this individual’s past.
Alarmingly, there was no soul for even our most talented of Necromancers to acquire. -Deathstalker Field Commander #1971U”
Happy 3 year anniversary Undercity Nexus!
It is suiting that we celebrate our anniversary on Friday the 13th this year. UCN is still going strong. Unlike previous years we are not having an in game event to celebrate but are instead focusing on the guild itself, and a upcoming server campaign. The guild will soon have a restructuring within the ranks, and a few other details worked on to spruce us up in preparation for the upcoming Legion expansion.
Our guild has been a success due in to amazing members, and a great community. Thank you everyone, we consider ourselves very fortunate and are grateful to everyone.
“The question that plagued us tonight was….how do you sneak 10 Forsaken into a brothel. -U”
OOC: Later this week UCN is engaging in a mature themed rp d20 campaign. See the guild calendar. We will be conducting this rp d20 campaign via discord.
