Happy Birthday, UCN!

I got a birthday cake to celebrate the guild turning 9 years old. Why? Because I have adult money and I do what I want. The icing is whip cream.

I’m an adult, and I do what I want with adult money.

Happy 9 Year Anniversary Undercity Nexus, Moon Guard RP Guild

Happy Birthday Undercity Nexus!

Today marks our 9th year as a RP guild! Over the years we have had the high honor of being a part of countless rp stories, many server campaigns, countless battles, and more! Here is to many more years to come (….oh geez). Along the way, we have had many wonderful people be a part of our story, and continue to be grateful for the wonderful engagement we get from our guild members, and the server community as a whole. A special shout out to our guild officer core who help keep this corpse wagon rolling ❤

Thank you for being a part of our story.

Field Report From Helena To High Command

Frigid silence masks Helena’s chaos as she hands off her report to the courier. Why it was that the assessment was so easy to pass, she couldn’t be certain, and she was not inclined to trust such good news. Honesty wasn’t something High Command always needed, and yet, she could not shake the unsettling feeling that she had been watched, whether it was due to paranoia after encountering the Void’s influence, or some other malicious factor…

———————————–

For High Command’s Eyes,

We were ordered to report to Ambermill for an assessment on a majority of Deathguards operating within Silverpine. Our assessment consisted of organized sparring between partners, and upon completion of this, the tactical euthanizing of a feral Worgen, apparently held in captivity for demonstration. The Assessor had deemed our militia’s efforts a success, and we were informed that we passed the test. Of those partnered who emerged victorious in their initial spars, there are three individuals worthy of note and consideration.

Thomas Sorrowsong suppressed his opponent with no wounds that I could observe. His skill with a blade is enhanced by his power in shadow magic, and I can see that his designation as a Slayer is rather apt. When the Worgen was loosed upon our group, he was able to lift the beast’s entire body from the ground and manipulate it at will.

Given the number of orders sent directly to Orion, it must surprise no one that his name is on this list. His pragmatic and utilitarian manners saw him resisting the wrath of the Margrave, and emerging victorious. His well-timed shots tore pieces from the Worgen’s body, reducing what was otherwise a fast-moving target into shambling prey.

My final individual of note is Aurelus Woolers, my very own sparring partner. He proved that his considerably shorter time in undeath was not a reason to underestimate him, as he was able to thwart me with physical and dexterous skill alone. While I was forced to concede and begin a list of features in need of repair, I watched as Aurelus slew the unleashed Worgen, gutting what remained of the creature.

Recommendations aside, the Scarlets have begun to encroach into Tirisfal more regularly. I encountered a Crusader daring to hunt within the Whispering Forest, one from the same group we fought against at the Balnir Farmstead. I engaged and survived, but at great personal cost, and could not make out what location he retreated to after I sustained critical injury.

To avert the consequence of recycling for two failures in a row, I will highlight that I sparred my partner with makeshift armor patching, but not vessel repair. I shall make the necessary arrangements following the delivery of this report, as well as begin preparations to gather a specialized group that will allow us to better purge wickedness from our lands, be they Scarlet, Bloodfang or Void infestations.

Field Report: Sludgefields

As you may know, Lord Venomdepth order me to investigate The Sludgefields after the interference we encountered through our comm-units. When I arrived I was relieved to see that the Sludefields showed no signs of an attack. However, as I questioned the guards stationed there I discovered that Executor Darthalia launched an attack on Shadowfang Keep, and Sir Rommal was part of the invading force. I made my way towards Southpoint Gate and once there I discovered that the Executors’ attack was unsuccessful. Our forces were forced to retreat, leaving behind much of our equipment, our soldiers, and even Sir Rommal himself.

Normally I would assume that he is dead, however yesterday evening the communicator sparked up once more. In the message that was received, it appears that Sir Rommal is still alive and is holding out against the worgens assault. At this point I am unsure of Sir Rommal’s current status, he could have fallen or been captured. I wait patiently to see if the communicator goes off once more. ~Orion

From the Desk of Baron Bendricus Volheim, Lord of Cragreach

“From the Desk of Baron Bendricus Volheim, Lord of Cragreach,

Report Number 29-4

A few days prior, one of the militia, while on patrol, came upon an anomaly in the forests near the old Balnir Farmstead. When going to investigate, they were subsequently set upon by a strange force, one that, for a time, had control of her mental faculties. After a span of time, estimated at five hours, they recovered, and fled from the area, reporting back to Ambermill…

This evening, a force was dispatched, consisting of nearly a dozen militia members, including a Deathstalker, a trio of adherents of the Cult, and soldiers of the Deathguard, including myself. When our force entered the area of engagement, we were immediately beset upon by void horrors, creatures that reached out from portals, and set about to snare our forces, all to drag them into said portals. After some heavy fighting, the militia dispatched the creatures and moved onward. A note that, at this point, during the struggle, a horse rode past, alerting us to the presence of Scarlets in the area.

The speculation of their presence was soon confirmed, as, when our forces reached the perimeter of the farm, swarms of mindless undead, some clearly void corrupted, ambushed the Forsaken forces, who, by the efforts of the shadow adherents, had their wounds tended to just moments prior. The mindless undead were slain with ease. Through the undead, and, a trio of… undead horses that have become addicted to undead flesh, the militia soon reached the center of the farmstead. The field before the barn was covered in half-eaten and dismembered corpses, bearing Forsaken, Argent and Scarlet tabards and armor.

As the militia forces sought to check the corpses, a pair of strange figures appeared from the barn. The first, an angelic figure, one that, if one had a pulse, would have found quite desirable, sang a hauntingly beautiful song. The song sent whispers into our minds, causing us great fear and trepidation, as the other figure, a void-corrupted Dark Ranger, assaulted our ranks, and, while injuries and damage mounted, our forces soon prevailed, the marksman Orion landing a mortal blow upon the Ranger.

With the remaining void forces destroyed, the Scarlets, who were fighting the same forces on the northern edge of the farm, soon sought combat, and, despite our best efforts, managed to force us from the area, denying us the valuable resources in body parts and supplies. “

Conquest Everfrost – Horde Deployment

The Cult Of Forgotten Shadow preparations for the arrival of the Horde deployment.
Sniper cover was provided as cover for the arriving Horde deployment as they arrived in TM. Once in TM the Horde was met by a formal military reception.

Conquest Everfrost Summit

“The Horde and Alliance hosted a Summit to address the concerns brewing in Altrac. Alas, the meeting was largely derailed by disruptive egos who had no interest in addressing greater threats, so much as hurling repetitive insults.

Still, there is comfort in the predictability of patterns. Expected disappointment, is expected.

Most amusing was the extent to which the Alliance desperately projected their own desire for ill-deeds onto the Forsaken, laying many accusations at our feet. Only to then announce that they planned to do the very things they accused us of.

Still, there is comfort in the predictability of patterns. Expected disappointment, is expected. -#1971U”

To My Dearest Festersmith Plaguewrath, Royal Apothecary Society;

Greetings my beloved little pustule. I’ve got good news, bad news, and more good news for you! The good news is that Lordaeron is getting some allied help from our breather friends from Eversong and Kalimdor! It’s so nice when they come to visit, and even better when they leave a swathe of new recruits to join in our cause! The bad news is that they ARE metabolically active, so the scuttlebutt from High Command is that you’re going to need to move non-standard arcano-alchemical weapons research and production from your current site to the Sludgefields for the next few months. I know that it’s a setback what with all the work you’re putting in to get that ‘special surprise’ ready for Noblegarden, but what can we do? The peerage and the new government want us to make for good friends. The final good news is that I managed to find a bottle of that lotion you like to ease the desiccations of the skin on your darling little buboes! I miss you my dearest pus puddle snuggle wuggle!

P.S. Have you seen Juicy-Woucy? He does such charming finger

painter for an abomination.
