After the Fall

“The city fell so swift, that there was little time to rally. It was only after the fall did we pause, to gather and reflect on that which we brought upon ourselves.”

An End To A Year

“A friendly spar was called, and so we answered. Many members of the Horde turned out and spent the night engaged in blood sport, testing their skills against one another. From the sidelines a number of us watched, using the time and entertainment as a means to network. -U”

Deployment: Hammerfall

8-10-2016 8-15-26 PM

“We knew it was only a matter of time before we were issued order to ride out, most of us separately and scattered to the wind among other units. I pulled strings, and did what I must through some red tape magic to keep most of the rotters under the bones together as a unit for this assignment.  As we have done for for years, we rallied in the ruins and from there received our shadow blessing. The blessing was granted to us by our War Priest, Grim. From there we rode, to face the horrors that awaited on a forward front in the field at Hammerfall. -#1971U”

Dark Portal, the hunt for the Brotherhood Of The Horse

“Several days ago one of our shadow Priests was taken prisoner. Due to the comm implanted into his skull, he has been able to provide us with infrequent updates and intel on who has him and where he thinks he is. All communications ended recently, and did so in a bloody assault in which he said something about Orcs. We believed their base to have been in Netherguard Keep, which has been their outpost for several years now. Reports from the area speak of devistation, of the dark portal under going some change, and large scale carnage. We rode out hoping to reclaim our brother, only to find the blasted lands in anarchy. -U”

Once more we rallied in the ruins. Everyone had instruction to pack for a lengthy field trip, which for the undead means extra arms and repair kits. Normally when we ride out with allies we pack extra food and medical supplies for the living in the event that the living are in need. As undead are needs are few, and our movement and response time is swift for it.

Arriving in the Blasted Lands, we were confronted immediately with the sight of Orcs, none of whom bore standards or insignia of friendly forces we know. We found both Alliance and Horde bases in the area over run, a slaughter. Our Brother still remains unaccounted for, and his captors no where to be found among the bloated corpses left at the Keep.

Tournament Of Thorns

Tournament Of Thorns

1st Place – Vurkgol – fighting on behalf of Megabucks Cartel
2nd – Avaluria – fighting for the cause of ‘Peace, love, and tolerance.’
3rd – Kelavin – fighting on behalf of the Sunguard.

OOC: The Tournament of Thorns went off without a hitch, and was a HUGE success! A lot of people came together to make this event possible, a special thanks to the Umbrella Enclave, Xulili, the sponsors and everyone in the Undercity Nexus who helped make this event possible no matter how big or small they contributed!

We really love this format, and will use this again in the future!

Total raised for the Humane Society: $50!!!!!! The full amount! Thank you Moon Guard for helping out homeless pets!

The Tournament Of Thorns had a record turn out, with the elite organizations of the Horde in attendance as well as many leaders. Everyone in attendance was eager to see the tournament play out.

The Cult Of Forgotten Priestess Sereta, a member of the Nexus, offered a opening prayer and blessing for the Champions. Unexpectedly they knelt before her, awaiting her words of encouragement and empowerment.

The duels were brutal, and no one easily yielded. The audience was frequently impressed, and cheers and chants could be heard through the night. During the opening round, the Champions were to first salute their generous patron, and then announce their cause. Afterward, they were free to lay on.

Aside from the tournament, there were other distractions offered. The Cult put forward one of their Priest, who in turn offered Death Predictions to those brave enough to learn of their ultimate fate. The death predictions were rather popular after the tournament had finished.

Champion’s Auction & Sponsorship

“Honorable members of the Horde, welcome and thank you for joining us on this auspicious evening as we celebrate and observe an old tradition. For generations great tournaments were hosted in Lordaeron before the fall. The greatest of Champions would step forward and then fight on behalf of a noble cause, decided by their sponsoring patron.

Tonight many great Champions of the Horde are stepping forward. You will have the chance to bid on, and sponsor the Champion who then will in turn enter into the tournament and fight for the honor of your cause. By sponsoring a Champion you support some of the Horde’s best warriors with the costs of their armor, weapons, and other battlefield needs.

Tonight we remember Lordaeron and her old ways, tomorrow we honor the Horde.” (Opening speech from the Champion’s Auction)

Forsaken RP Guild - Champions Auction

The interest was high, many people came to not only take part in the tournament as a Champion or Sponsor but also to watch. There was a good measure of social mingling as well as good cheer for the evening. It’s rare the the Undercity sees so many guests, much less in peace time for festive reasons.

Champion’s from many different races, and groups stepped forward. The racial mix was fairly vast, with a nice representation of all but one race of the Horde.

The Champion’s were called forward one-by-one. Each had a story, all wore their battle armor as a testament to skill and value. Each had their own style, flare, and story to excite their would be patrons. In the end, every Champion found a patron.

Save Our Souls: Decree (RP Story) (ATTN: Clergy)

(Original rp post on the server forums are at: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/10387789009 )

“To the overreaching political group known as the Council Of Bishops:

However distant, the dream of peace and reconciliation is never far from the faithful. In recent years, this dream has seen such brutality and hatred, that most consider it little more than a lingering work of fiction and the idle fancy of fools. The Council Of Bishops has actively played their hand in this role, engaging in the slaughter of civilian targets even in its most recent Crusade. Upon the wake of such brutality, the Council then courts the anointment and appointing of a Bishop who shall oversee those who they seek to destroy. Pray why, do the Council Of Bishops wield a bloody sword in one hand, and tarnished holy text in another while seeking to save souls? To this the souls of Lordaeron cry out, aching for redemption. Hereby, it is my solemn duty as a Sheppard of the Light to issue this decree and as such don my mantle.

Let it be known:

1. The clergy of Lordaeron shall be restored to its proper state. And shall hence forth be independent of the near heretical organizations of the Council Of Bishops, within the Alliance. The restored Clergy shall not accept any appointments made by the Alliance, its nobles, or the clergy who has given itself fully to their politics.

2. The Cult of the Forgotten Shadow shall not be treated as a heretical group, but a philosophical one borne of necessity and enlightenment. They shall be granted the same respect as those who commune with Azeroth’s elements, or the forces of nature of this world. This extends to others who perform magic for the sake of bettering themselves and Azeroth. This however will not excuse them for acts of evil, or otherwise heretical practices.

3. The Clergy of the Alliance are incapable of attending to the needs of the souls of Lordaeron and Quel’thalas. The faithful in these lands have undergone suffering which such a foreign Church simply cannot comprehend, and have demonstrated that they cannot sympathize with. Additionally, the state of undeath adds a layer of complexity to the practice of the Light that must be experienced to be understood.

Though our people are locked in conflict, and the dream of peace is distant I pray for a time when the faithful of every sect maybe gather and embrace the three virtues wholly. Peace is alien to our lifetimes, however we must remain the bastion of hope: the calm in the storm. To better save the souls of those deemed lost in Lordaeron, I take this charge upon myself. With the wide spread and popular support of my people, I hereby declare myself the guardian of the lost souls of Lordaeron; the Archbishop Of Lordaeron.

Signed, Archbishop Pelaios Silvertongue
Here is to the restoration and redemption of Lordaeron, through faith.”
