Court Of Miracles – UCN 1 Year Anniversary

OOC: The Undercity Nexus is now 1 year old! It’s been a great first year, with lots of amazing and very supportive people who have made it possible. Here is to our first year, and the other years to come!

“A willing recruit, and members rising in the ranks…once more the Court Of Miracles proves itself. -U”

We rallied in the ruins before riding out to the Court.

Among with various promotions, a recruit came to us and actively courted undeath as an answer to her illness.

Among the promotions were Ick, a long standing member.

Let Them Run – Warrants Issued (RP Story)

(This is an rp story that is a tie into the Dance Of The Dead Halloween event. All characters listed here are listed with player consent and knowledge.)

Dance Of The Dead Event Thread: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/9936653772

Paperwork is one of the single greatest elements of her duties that Ban dreaded. Her duties as a field Commander were less than glamorous, and the fact that she lacked someone to push paperwork on her behalf was a firm reminder as to just where she sat in the pecking order of the Forsaken military. After Varimathas’ betrayal, the Deathstalkers had largely been gutted and stripped of their privilege and utility. Today, only a few Deathstalkers retained much in the way of pomp, and those individuals she personally regarded as gifted !@# kissers who knew how to manage politics more than a dagger.

Within the Undercity proper, she returned to the ‘Rogues Quarters’ and there settled in to handle the task at hand: warrants were to be issued. The gesture of these particular warrants was shallow, just a political mask for the bare minimum sake of legality for what was to happen. Quill in hand, she consulted a collective of Intel on various persons within the Alliance. Who would she damn?

First removed from the list were the civilians, because they evoked too much of a bleeding heart complex and were not as fun to “judge”. The group of persons removed second from potential warrants were soldiers who were listed as aging, or too disabled to handle the game at hand. By the end of her sorting, Ban had a list of healthy soldiers in their prime, perfect targets to send a message with.

Quill in hand she began to write:

“ WANTED

To all whom it may concern, following persons of the Alliance are here by marked as wanted for unlawful actions against Undercity, The Lady Sylvannas, and the Forsaken. It is preferential that they be captured alive to face trial for their misdeeds.

• Sir Nicholas Graveshire, Commander of the Grey Hand: this bestial man stands accused of engaging in ambushes on Forsaken military and civilian targets in the Silverpine area. A variety of murders are credited to this man, he is considered dangerous.
• Talrendor Nightwhisper: This man stands accused of having slaughtered a member of the Royal Apothecary Society who was engaging in peaceful field research. He is also credited with the burning of research labs, and civilian locations. Approach with caution, considered dangerous.
• Elizabeth Longstead: This woman is wanted for her sabotage, and theft of medical supplies that were being sent to the war efforts in Orgimmar. Approach with caution.
• Collar: This individual is only known by an assumed alias. He is wanted for the torture and dismemberment of a number of Forsaken, often killing Forsaken in a prolonged and exceptionally painful manner in a manner that implies he has the tendencies of a true sadist. Approach with caution, considered dangerous.
• Sir Alverdo Blackmoore: A known faithful of the Light, this man has killed Deathguards and Apothecaries in peace time. He has made use of the Light in combat to inflict special and malicious pain upon his targets. Those who survive are maimed, and endure long term suffering. Approach with caution, consult a Lightslayer if possible.
• Penthe: A bounty hunter who has taken claim to hunting Forsaken during war and peace time. Their targets include civilians and non-combatants. Approach with caution.

~Signed, Deathstalker Field Commander #1971U”

The wording was simple and direct; there was no need for grandiose conjecture. Those who read the warrant would know its true purpose, and understand that this was just a small gesture that was a part of a far grander act. Those on the list were the desired game to hunt at the coming Forsaken festivities.

It would not take long for the warrant to circulate among the hands of the Forsaken, and in turn other members of the Horde….and finally perhaps even the Alliance. Her only regret was not being able to see the reactions of the Alliance when the hollow decree reached their hands.

The Purge Of Kor’Kron From The Undercity

(At the most recent meeting of Horde guilds we proposed a night dedicated to the forsaken purging the KorKron from the Undercity. The Night was to be an open rp event in which multiple guilds and random players could join in on. Here is the screenshots from our particular story, which has not yet been coordinated with others who came out.)

“The Kor’Kron have long held an oppressive sway in the Undercity. Since Putress’ betrayal there have been Kor’Kron stationed all through the Undercity – an increasingly abrasive and abusive presence.  Word of trouble in the Vale combined with the growing Rebellion sparked a planned coup among the Forsaken. Long through the afternoon, evening, and into the morning the sounds of bloody combat could be heard through the Undercity. The Overseers were loath to easily step aside, knowing that if they retreated Garrosh would show them no mercy….and we have far worse in store for them.

A bounty was placed, 25 gold per head.

Among our ranks, a number of persons were seriously injured and will require downtime. The rest of us, will enjoy a short celebration before riding on to deal with Garrosh’s madness. -U”

Rally in the ruins, we gathered to discuss which path we would take. While discussing our plans, a few outsiders joined us. Most notable of the outsiders was a Goblin…who we tried to bribe into acting as ‘bait’ for the Kor’Kron in an “interesting” manner involving a lack of clothing.

Few of us remain who can recall a time before the Kor’Kron. The older veterans welcome the chance to see Abominations standing guard once more.

James and Plaguebreath issued marching orders…

Into the thick of it we march, killing as we go. We were among the first to begin the fight. All through the night, we could hear fights elsewhere, and see evidence of the brawls made obvious by the blood and gore left behind. In the city proper we split into two strike teams, and kept tabs on one another through our comms.

Marching toward our final brawl for the night, the liberation of the Labs and the head Overseer within. Each of our groups cleared a quarter in the Undercity, and left the other areas to other teams beyond our command.

Our two groups met and combined forced in the labs. The fight in the labs was intense – as the Overseer had called in his guards to act as reinforcements for his final stand. Farnell’s laughter at the Orc’s plight was….delightful if not haunting.

The final brawl was ugly, as a number of us were already wounded and the Overseer was backed against the wall with nothing to lose. Ansadril landed the killing blow – and with the final strike we were able to rest and seek repairs for our injuries. All through the rest of the night we would listen to the sounds of fighting, Orc’s dying, and at last our own liberty.

Bless The Blight

“Where do Forsaken go when they want to be alone? In our case, the ruins of Southshore, surrounded by blight. We shall make this a weekly gathering. -B”

Bless the blight, for it offers us peace.

Victory in Silverpine!

“Victory in Silverpine. The forces of the Pretender Queen have been rampaging across Forsaken lands. They were met and soundly defeated in Silverpine, chased north to Brill and there defeated soundly once more. Many members of the Undercity Nexus were present and blooded their weapons many times over. The fallen members of this so called ‘Crusade’ will find their higher calling when they are risen anew as undead. More so, I look forward to the reactionary faces of their living brothers in arms when they are confronted by their fallen.-B”

Undercity Nexus Forsaken RP-PvP

The first assault was soundly defeated with minimal losses.

After defeating the first assault we wait for more.

Rather than wait we attack! Once more we break their forces and send them running into the forest.

Reclaiming Ambermill and clearing out the hostile forces.

The battle for Brill, once more their forces are outright crushed.

The fight on the road before the Scarlet Monastery.

Victory. The Undercity Nexus represented the largest single Forsaken interest in the assault.
